Booking Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions of Booking - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
 
PLEASE NOTE THAT BY MAKING A BOOKING AND PAYING A DEPOSIT, YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING. FOR OUR PRIVACY POLICY, CLICK HERE.
 
 
TO MAKE A BOOKING, AND FOR US TO ACCEPT IT:
  • Complete a booking form and accept the Terms & Conditions of Booking by ticking YES on the booking form
  • Pay a deposit within 7 days (including weekends)
  • Pay the balance and breakages bond no later than 4 weeks before arrival
  • If your booking is within 35 days, then the full balance is due within 7 days (including weekends)
  • If your booking is within 7 days, then the full balance is due immediately after booking via PayPal or Bank Transfer
  • You accept to pay a processing fee of 3.4% on the final balance if you opt to pay by debit/credit card via Paypal (bookings made on or after 27th July 2010)
  •

WE WILL CANCEL YOUR BOOKING BEFORE ARRIVAL IF:

  • The deposit is not received within 7 days (including weekends)
  • The balance is not received no later than 4 weeks before arrival

REFUNDS OF MONEY

  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • Once the final balance has been received, no refund will be made should you wish to cancel
  • We may consider a refund as a gesture of goodwill if we can re-let the accommodation, minus any discounts we have to give to the next booking

BREAKAGES BOND

  • £50 is required per week, per caravan for GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE caravans, £100 is required per week, per caravan for Platinum caravans
  • The bond is refunded by us, within 14 days of departure, subject to inspection of the caravan (see below)

The full breakages bond will be forfeited by the guests, or part of, if the following occure, whether it be accidental, willful or through neglect

  • The caravan is not left in a clean and tidy condition, as found on arrival (SEE BELOW)
  • There is damage to the caravan or its contents
  • There are breakages in the caravan
  • There is evidence of smoking in the caravan
  • Keys are lost and replacement locks are required. The main hirer will also be responsible for any extra costs incurred by the locksmith

The person completing the booking form and accepting the Terms & Conditions of booking is responsible for the actions of the guests during there stay, and is liable for any damage, and any cost associated to repair the damage.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES

  • Check-in times are GOLD 2PM, SILVER and BRONZE 3pm, PLATINUM 1pm, or as otherwise stated in the caravan descriptions
  • Check-out times are 10am, or as otherwise stated in your booking confirmation and arrival information
  • Un-arranged late departures will be charged at £35

THE FOLLOWING IS NOT ALLOWED, AND YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATLY, WITHOUT REFUND

  • Pets
  • Smoking
  • Overnight guests who are not on the guest list
  • Unacceptable behaviour or conduct by guests to the caravan owners, holiday site staff or other holidaymakers
  • Unacceptable levels of noise

IF WE CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY, FOR REASONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL, WE WILL OFFER YOU ONE OF THE FOLLOWING

  • Alternative accommodation
  • An alternative date
  • A full refund

THE CARAVAN OWNERS, AND COASTFIELDS HOLIDAY VILLAGE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR, AND ARE RELIEVED OF

  • Personal Injury
  • Items lost, stolen or damaged
  • Damage to vehicles before, during or after your stay

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING (AND NO REFUND WILL BE MADE IN RESPECT OF)

  • Changes to the advertised facilties or entertainment (this is at the discretion of Coastfields Holiday Village)
  • Closure of facilties during quiet periods (this is at the discretion of Coastfields Holiday Village)
  • Loss of caravan facilties or items due to damage or breakages from previous guests (items will be replaced as soon as possible)
  • Loss of gas/electricity/water due to weather, emergency repairs, or maintenance by the relevant utility companies

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DO THE FOLLOWING

  • Refuse a booking without reason
  • Not to accept bookings from groups of 3 or more people of the same sex, or from groups of people under the age of 21
  • Change the terms and conditions of booking without notice, and make you aware of any changes that may affect you
  • Make a charge against you for any damage to the caravan or its contents
  • Make a decision in a dispute which is final

HOLIDAY INSURANCE IS NOT INCLUDED

CLEAN AND TIDY CONDITION (THIS LIST IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE, AND IS NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Beds stripped and linen placed by the main door
  • All bins emptied and rubbish placed in the green skips located around the park
  • All areas to be left clean, cooker/oven and microwave to be left clean
  • Fridge/Freezer to emptied of food items, and left clean
  • All crockery, utensil, cutlery etc to be washed, dried and put away
  • Floor surface to be hoovered and/or mopped
  • IN OTHER WORDS, PLEASE LEAVE THE CARAVAN CLEAN AND TIDY AS YOU FIND IT!
