Booking Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions of Booking - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
 
PLEASE NOTE THAT BY MAKING A BOOKING BY TELEPHONE OR IN WRITING/ONLINE BOOKING AND PAYING A DEPOSIT, YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING. FOR OUR PRIVACY POLICY, CLICK HERE.
 
 
TO MAKE A BOOKING, AND FOR US TO ACCEPT IT:
  • Complete a booking form and accept the Terms & Conditions of Booking by ticking YES on the booking form, or with telephone bookings paying your deposit.
  • Pay a deposit within 7 days (including weekends)
  • Pay the balance and breakages bond no later than 6 weeks before arrival
  • If your booking is within 49 days, then the full balance is due immediately after booking via Bank Transfer, or in the Halifax Bank by the end of the next working day
  •  PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES WITHIN 14 DAYS OF ARRIVAL
  • 

If you wish to cancel you're booking, then we will require confirmation of this in writing, either by post or email.

Arrival information is sent by post, within 2 weeks of your arrival date.

WE CAN CANCEL YOUR BOOKING BEFORE ARRIVAL IF:

  • The deposit is not received within 7 days (including weekends)
  • The balance is not received no later than 6 weeks before arrival

REFUNDS OF MONEY

  • Deposits are non-refundable

Once the final balance has been received, no refund will be made should you wish to cancel your booking and you are liable for full payment of your holiday. Please note that we will not transfer your booking to another date in the event of you wishing to cancel your booking.

  • We may consider a refund as a gesture of goodwill if we can re-let the accommodation, minus any discounts we have to give to the next booking

BREAKAGES/DAMAGES/SMOKING BOND*

  • £50 is required per week, per caravan for GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE caravans, £100 is required per week, per caravan for Platinum caravans
  • The bond is refunded by us, within 14 days of departure, subject to inspection of the caravan (see below)
  • If requested by you, and subject to inspection of the caravan after your departure, your bond can be used as a deposit for a future booking. If you request that we do this, then your bond is classed as a deposit and is non-refundable.

The full breakages bond will be forfeited by the guests, or part of, if the following occure, whether it be accidental, willful or through neglect.

  • The caravan is not left in a clean and tidy condition, as found on arrival (SEE BELOW)
  • There is damage to the caravan or its contents
  • There are breakages in the caravan
  • There is evidence of smoking in the caravan
  • Keys are lost and replacement locks are required. The main hirer will also be responsible for any extra costs incurred by the locksmith

The person making the booking and accepting the Terms & Conditions of booking is responsible for the actions of the guests during there stay, and is liable for any damage, and any cost associated to repair the damage.

Bond refunds that are issued by cheque may unfortunatley go astray in the Royal Mail from time to time, which is out of our control. It is the responsibility of the hirer to inform us if a bond refund is not received within 14 days after departure.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES

  • Check-in times are GOLD 2PM, SILVER and BRONZE 3pm, PLATINUM 1pm, or as otherwise stated in the caravan descriptions or booking confirmation/arrival information
  • Check-out times are 10am, or as otherwise stated in your booking confirmation and arrival information
  • Un-arranged late departures will be charged at £35

THE FOLLOWING IS NOT ALLOWED, AND YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATLY, WITHOUT REFUND

  • Pets
  • Smoking
  • Overnight guests who are not on the guest list
  • Unacceptable behaviour or conduct by guests to the caravan owners, holiday site staff or other holidaymakers
  • Unacceptable levels of noise

IF WE CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY, FOR REASONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL, WE WILL OFFER YOU ONE OF THE FOLLOWING

  • Alternative accommodation
  • An alternative date
  • A full refund

Please note that if a full refund is offered, then we will only refund any monies paid. No compensation or consequentional losses shall be paid.

THE CARAVAN OWNERS, AND COASTFIELDS HOLIDAY VILLAGE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR, AND ARE RELIEVED OF

  • Personal Injury
  • Items lost, stolen or damaged
  • Damage to vehicles before, during or after your stay

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING (AND NO REFUND WILL BE MADE IN RESPECT OF)

  • Changes to the advertised facilties or entertainment (this is at the discretion of Coastfields Holiday Village)
  • Closure of facilties during quiet periods (this is at the discretion of Coastfields Holiday Village)
  • Loss of caravan facilties or items due to damage or breakages from previous guests (items will be replaced as soon as possible)
  • Smell of smoke from previous guests when they have smoked without our knowledge. Caravans will be air freshened as best as possible
  • Loss of gas/electricity/water due to weather, emergency repairs, or maintenance by the relevant utility companies, Coastfields Holiday staff or there contractors
  • Weather conditions which may restrict or cancel your travel arrangements before, during or after your holiday
  • Cancellation of your booking by the hirer due to weather conditions

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DO THE FOLLOWING

  • Refuse or cancel a booking without reason, before or after the booking has been made and confirmed
  • Not to accept bookings from groups of 3 or more people of the same sex, or from groups of people under the age of 21
  • Change the terms and conditions of booking without notice, and make you aware of any changes that may affect you
  • Make a charge against you for any damage to the caravan or its contents
  • Make a decision in a dispute which is final
  • Reduce/increase the price of unsold holidays based on availability and/or local availability with the caravan site/private owners. In the event of a price reduction on "similar" accommodation, no discount will be given to "sold" holidays
  • At our discretion, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £25 for lost paperwork/documents, or for the re-issue of bond refund cheques when lost by you.

ONCE A BOOKING HAS BEEN MADE AND A DEPOSIT PAID, WE ARE UNABLE TO DECREASE THE NUMBER OF NIGHTS. WE WILL ONLY CHANGE THE ARRIVAL DATE AT OUR DISCRETION AND IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. IF YOU WISH TO BOOK A HOLIDAY AT A CHEAPER PRICE AFTER YOUR DEPOSIT HAS BEEN PAID, THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR EXSITING BOOKING, AND A NEW BOOKING WILL HAVE TO BE MADE. IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE YOUR DEPOSIT PAYMENT AND WE CANCEL YOUR BOOKING, AND YOU WISH TO RE-INSTATE OR MAKE A NEW BOOKING FOR THE SAME DATE AND/OR ACCOMMODATION, THEN YOUR BOOKING WILL BE AT THE PREVIOUS BOOKING COST, REGARDLESS OF ANY PRICE DECREASE.

HOLIDAY INSURANCE IS NOT INCLUDED

CLEAN AND TIDY CONDITION (THIS LIST IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE, AND IS NOT LIMITED TO)

We reserve the right to deduct an additional cleaning fee if the caravan is not left as it is found.

  • Beds stripped and linen placed by the main door
  • All bins emptied and rubbish placed in the green skips located around the park
  • All areas to be left clean, cooker/oven and microwave to be left clean
  • Fridge/Freezer to emptied of food items, and left clean
  • All crockery, utensil, cutlery etc to be washed, dried and put away
  • Floor surface to be hoovered and/or mopped
  • IN OTHER WORDS, PLEASE LEAVE THE CARAVAN CLEAN AND TIDY AS YOU FIND IT!
